Josiah Welch, Cowlitz, is a young man of many traits. You can find him installing software on a computer and later catch him singing traditional canoe songs with his fellow tribal members. He is very involved with his culture and loves learning new things. Josiah is a member of the Cowlitz youth council and attended the Tribal Nations Youth Conference in Washington D.C. Having his voice heard is very important to him and he wants, no he WILL, change his school and community for the good.
