I am 21 years old and a citizen of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. My biggest passion in life is fitness, In 2013, I started a fitness group in my home community that combats obesity and self esteem issues within our own lives. I was Miss Cherokee 2013-2014, Jr Miss Cherokee 2012-2013 and Miss Oklahoma Indian Summer 2015-2016, with each of these ambassador roles I have chosen to promote fitness, by playing and teaching traditional games to our communities. I am also an Artist, focusing mainly on textile work such as weaving and traditional clothing but I have also started to learn beadwork. I graduate from Northeastern State University this Spring, with a degree in Criminal Justice- Legal Studies. With this degree, I plan to work in the field of Indian Child Welfare, ensuring our children receive the best life possible within our native homes.
