Mistaya Benefield, 17yrs, Port Gamble Sklallam Tribe, comes to us from the great state of Washington. She saw a presentation about We R Native and from then on, she wanted to become part of the team…… Now she can say she is! Coming from a background of gymnastics, she knows the pressure of juggling sport and school and is passionate about making a positive change in her community. She’s also passionate about creating a drug and alcohol free community, with more opportunity for teenagers to ask for and get the help they need/haven’t gotten a chance to get. Be on the lookout for this awesome ambassador!
