ASK YOUR RELATIVE QUESTIONS

Hey auntie, I started liking one of my close guy friends a while back but I don’t want to ruin anything what do I do?

This is a question many people before you have asked and one that will continue long after…how do you make sure you don’t to get in the friend zone.

Here’s a couple tips:

  1. Make sure you don’t get in the friend zone by moving towards romantic partner status
  2. Take a healthy risk and put feelers out there. Ask your crush is he wants to hang out or do something together
  3. Make sure you know what you want. If it’s a committed relationship, then don’t settle for being just a friend with benefits. It can help to start a journal and write down what it is you want.

Relationships start and end for a lot of different reasons, but you won’t know unless you ask for what you want. If this doesn’t work out, don’t take it personally, some things are not meant to be.

Whether it’s with this relationship or another the time comes, make sure you clearly state to your partner the things you want from your relationship. If he is unwilling or uninterested, then it’s better to walk away and find someone else who is.

Most of all be kind and love yourself. If you do, that shines out of you in every way possible and it attracts the right kind of people.

Take care,

Auntie Manda
