ASK YOUR RELATIVE QUESTIONS

How do I fully embrace my native identity without any of the essentials?

If you live in or around an indigenous community, rural or urban, wether it is your specific tribe or not, learn to contribute. We each have unique talents and gifts and these make us integral members of the community. Indigenous identity is in large part an expression of internal character. Be willing to learn along the way. Preserving knowledge is an important part of indigenous culture as most is passed along as first hand knowledge from traditional culture bearers. Strengthen your spirituality. As indigenous peoples, our relationship with creator and creation is of the utmost importance as we extend from people who knew they were equal and integral parts of a greater whole.

Thank you,
