We all process things differently and that’s okay. Perhaps you’ve observed others going through a breakup and it looked much differently from the outside than what you’re experiencing. Perhaps you have some ideas beforehand about how you thought you would feel. Things don’t always match up and there’s nothing wrong with that.

There could be a number of reasons why you’re not feeling strongly affected by the breakup. Spend a little time alone reflecting on how you’re feeling. I’m always a big proponent for journaling. I like to journal. Not everybody does, but I encourage you to give it a try. Just grab some paper and something to write with. There are no rules for how to do it. It’s just between you and you. What better way to process your feelings than that?

Hope this helps.
