Hey, what’s it mean to be a We R Native Ambassador? How do I apply?

Great question!

Who are the We R Native Ambassadors?

We R Native ambassadors are Native youth ages 15-24 who want to make a positive impact on their communities. They are the heart and soul of We R Native.

Because we live in this wonderfully diverse world, where Native youth come from all walks of life including reservations, urban and rural areas, our team of ambassadors come with diverse backgrounds and experiences. Not only are their backgrounds diverse, but their personal skills are too.

What do they do?

Ambassadors contribute to making positive changes by being good role models. They lead healthy lifestyles, reach out to other Native youth, and work towards impacting their communities in positive ways.

Some ambassadors choose to promote positive health behaviors by hosting outreach and awareness events in their community, representing We R Native at local or National youth conferences, by organizing community events around topics that are important to them, or by helping to create, edit, and review content for We R Native.

How to Apply?

If this sounds like something you want to be a part of, you can learn more on We R Native’s website and apply online.
