To increase awareness among youth, the NPAIHB Youth Delegates will partner with the NPAIHB to host a Social Marketing Bootcamp Training. Participants will design a youth-led social marketing campaign, developing a Public Service Announcement (PSA) and social media posts. It will be a two-day bootcamp that will focus on “I Strengthen My Nation, A and D resiliency in Indian country.”

When the campaign is complete, NPAIHB Youth Delegates will collaborate with the NPAIHB’s We R Native project to deliver the campaign messages to AI/AN youth across the U.S., using its existing multimedia communication channels: www.weRnative.org, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and text messaging (text NATIVE to 97779). Each campaign will reach 10,000+ AI/AN youth, connecting them to tools and resources to improve sexual assault prevention, intervention, and help-seeking skills.

Is it ok to create the art work of another tribe? As a kid I was taught Haida art by a Haida artist and I would like to explore it more now. I am part Cree but did not grow up with the culture as my father was put into foster care during the 60’s scoop.
