ASK YOUR RELATIVE QUESTIONS

Can I Get an Elder?

Q: Where can I find Elders that I can talk to?

We are everywhere! We’re at pow-wows. We’re at ceremonials. We’re on the reservation. We’re in urban settings. We’re in rural settings.

We are going places and meeting people and going to dances and songs. And we’re going to coastal jams.

So, look for us! We’re out in the community and we would love to talk to you.

We’d love to listen to you and share stories and help you to learn and offer you some of the wisdom we may have gained over the years.

I encourage you – reach out in your community. Talk to your elders – some of them are lonely. So, let us be there for you; just as you want to be there for us.

Take care,
