What is high blood fat? What causes it?
If you eat more carbs and fats than you burn, you may have high blood fat. Your body takes any calories it does not use right away as fat. Having high blood fat can increase your risk of heart disease and diabetes.

What can high blood fat lead to?
Heart Disease, Obesity, Diabetes, Higher Risk For Stroke, High Blood Pressure

What can you do to prevent getting high levels of fat in the blood?
The best way to keep your blood fat levels down is to eat fewer fats and carbs. Also try to keep a healthy weight, avoid sugary foods, and exercise more. With these positive changes, you can live a long and healthy life!
