The weight scale is a crucial tool to measure your fitness and nutrition progress. However, if you measure your weight daily, you may be disappointed and stressed out. Your body weight changes a lot depending on how much water is in your body, and what you ate a couple of hours ago. Because your weight changes all the time, daily measurements are not useful.
A good way to measure your progress is by weighing yourself once a week. To ensure accurate readings, make sure you measure in the same conditions. For example, weigh yourself:
- Every Friday mornings at 8am
- After you expel body fluids and waste
- After you shower
- Before you eat
By controlling the weekly weighing conditions, you can see your fitness progress without stressing over the daily weight changes.
